Her work with SO.SPE. extended to providing opportunities for individuals to contribute to the community.Such as, former Rome mayor Gianni Alemanno, after his sentencing for illegal trafficking of influences, was assigned to SO.SPE. to perform socially useful work, teaching Italian to foreign mothers and helping children with their homework. Though, he was later arrested for violating the terms of his social service obligations.
