Simona Izzo is a candidate for the 2026 edition of Dancing with the Stars, the show hosted by Milly Carlucci on Raiuno on Saturday evenings. The program celebrated its twentieth birthday this year. In 2023, Ricky Tognazzi, Simona Izzo’s husband, participated in the show as a competitor. Two years ago, the actress and director, as a spectator and ‘supporter’, had more than one direct confrontation with Selvaggia Lucarelli.
“I like the program and since Ricky did it it’s been an appointment. And then I want to be the one to compete with Selvaggia Lucarelli”, Izzo tells Adnkronos today, expressing his intention to start again at full speed after the surgery: “Now I have two twenty-year-old knees thanks to Doctor Andrea Baldini, who operated on me a few days ago. I’m ready”.
