Gamers finding Hollow Knight: Silksong a tough challenge can anticipate some relief next week. Team Cherry is set to roll out its initial post-launch patch, featuring balance adjustments intended to ease the game’s difficulty.

According to a Steam post by team Cherry, the upcoming patch is “primarily focused on bug fixes” while also bringing “some slight balance adjustments in the early game.”

The modifications include a “slight difficulty reduction” for early-game bosses Moorwing and Sister Splinter. Additionally, the damage inflicted by sandcarver enemies will be reduced.

The in-game economy is also being rebalanced. The rewards of rosary beads-Silksong’s main currency-will be increased for courier deliveries, relics, and psalm cylinders. Bellway and Bell Bench prices will also see a slight decrease.

“Barring any unforeseen issues, we’re aiming to deliver the patch to all players mid next week,” team Cherry stated. PC gamers can get immediate access to the patch through the public-beta branch on Steam or GOG.
