SIGMA announces New 28-105mm and 28-45mm Cine Zoom Lenses
The new lenses promise high-precision autofocus and exceptional rendering for professional filmmakers.
At Cine gear 2025, SIGMA previewed the 28-105mm T3 FF AF Cine Zooms, currently in development, alongside another version, the 28-45mm T2 AF.
The Sigma 28-45mm T2 FF is slated for release in November 2025, while the Sigma 28-105mm T3 FF is expected in Spring 2026. Both lenses will be available in Sony E and Leica L mounts.
According to Sigma, the new zoom lenses leverage the optical design of their Art lenses, delivering outstanding image quality and precise autofocus with excellent subject tracking.
Building upon the performance and reliability of Sigma’s Art lenses, the AF Cine Line incorporates cinema-style mechanics and operation, tailored for professional cinema use. Features include a focus ring with limited rotation, industry-standard 0.8M pitch gears, and an aperture ring that operates smoothly without clicks.
