The self-proclaimed “Indie God,” Matt Cardona, may have met his match in Shotzi Blackheart. Cardona’s claim to the title originated during his time in WWE, fueled by his popular “Z! True Long Island Story” web series where he was the Internet champion. Now, Shotzi, since leaving WWE, has made it clear she’s coming for the crown, declaring herself the new “Indie god” and even adopting the moniker “The Independent Champion.”

Shotzi recently released a parody video on YouTube and Instagram titled “ShotZ! True Indy God Story,” directly referencing Cardona’s original series. mimicking the theme music and format, she poked fun at the former WWE personality, even naming Cardona “Broski of the Week” due to his frequent tweets about her. shotzi also revealed a custom “Independent Championship” title and autographed an 8×10 photo for Cardona,promising to deliver it in person when they clash at GCW’s Boss Of All Bosses event on July 11.

Cardona Responds with Sarcasm

Cardona responded with his trademark sarcasm, cautioning Shotzi, “Joke’s on you… I don’t own Z! True Long Island Story… WWE does. Now they’re gonna sue you too!!!” This comes after his previous threat to sue her for gimmick infringement.
