Details of the Incident
The first 911 calls came in at around 7:30 p.m., reporting gunshots in the food court area. Residents heard several shots fired, with one person shot and two others wounded. Kim Kapp, spokesperson for the Vancouver Police Department, confirmed the victims were taken to the hospital but did not provide immediate updates on their conditions.
Officers arrived to find the shooting victim and wounded individuals in the food court. Kapp stated that detectives are reviewing mall camera footage to identify the shooter, who remains at large and potentially armed.
