Shipley Do-Nuts Las Vegas: Grand Opening & Locations

by Archynetys News Desk

Shipley Do-Nuts, the chain born in Houston in 1936 selling hot doughnuts for 5 cents a dozen wholesale, is going to glaze Las Vegas.

The company has signed a deal to open three shops here, joining deals for three stores in Dallas-Fort Worth, three in the Atlanta area and five in New Orleans, according to a recent announcement. The Vegas deal marks Shipley’s first Nevada shops and its westernmost locations.

Shipley offers more than 40 varieties of freshly made doughnuts: glazed, iced, sugar, cake, filled, doughnut holes and specialty versions such as bear claws and apple fritters. Classic glazed are the most popular.

It also offers what Texans call kolaches: pastry rolls (a twist on the Czech original) stuffed with savory fillings such as scrambled eggs and cheese, ham and cheese, and signature sausage with cheese and jalapeño.

In 2025, Shipley launched 35 new restaurants. In all, the brand has more than 385 company-owned and franchised locations across 13 states. Visit shipleydonuts.com.
