Comedian Shim Hyung-rae announced the resumption of his YouTube activities by personally revealing the fact that he underwent facial lift revision surgery.
Shim Hyung-rae recently honestly captured the process of visiting a hospital and undergoing facial lift surgery through his YouTube channel ‘Younggu TV’. In the video, he said, “It’s not a face lift, it’s a lift. It feels like I’m completely remodeling my face,” and explained why he decided to have the surgery, saying, “I wanted to greet you in a good way as I’m starting a YouTube channel.”
Shim Hyung-rae confessed that the burden of this surgery was even greater because it was a reoperation. He then recalled a memory from a past surgery, saying, “It really hurts having to expose my entire chin.” Nevertheless, regarding the reason for returning to the operating table, he emphasized, “After all, celebrities are professionals. When they stand in front of their fans, they want to show their best appearance.”

After completing the surgery, which lasted about three hours, Shim Hyung-rae attracted attention by revealing his recovery appearance with his entire face covered in bandages. Even with his swollen face, he did not lose his unique sense of humor. When the production crew asked about his guardian, he joked, “I live alone. Where would my wife be?” and then revealed his honest thoughts, saying, “When I come to a hospital like this, I sometimes think of remarriage.”
Shim Hyung-rae, who even revealed her appearance immediately after surgery without any modifications, expressed her determination for a new start, saying, “I will do my best to make you smile like before.”
