Shakira & Beéle Song Release Date Revealed

The expectation ended for those of followers of Shakira y Live it. After days of rumors and sightings in Barranquilla, the artists confirmed through their social networks that their new collaboration titled “Something you” will be available on all digital platforms next Wednesday March 4.

The announcement was made known through a video in which both appear in a recording studio, in which They let you hear a preview of the song’s catchy chorus.

“I can’t wait for it to be March 4th!” wrote the Barranquilla native on her Instagram account, accompanying the clip that quickly surpassed thousands of interactions.

Tribute to its roots

The song is not only a meeting of two generations, but a celebration of coastal identity Colombian.

According to the revealed fragments, “Algo tú” fuses urban rhythms with traditional sounds like the bagpipes and the bullerengue.

The filming of the video clip has also generated a stir, since it took place in emblematic places in Barranquilla, such as the Down Town. With the participation of local troupes and a carnival aesthetic, the video seeks to highlight the cultural richness of their homeland.

This release comes at a peak moment for Shakira, who was recently nominated for Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2026.
