Marvel are releasing a five-part comic series which will act as a prequel to the upcoming Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord animated series. The comic will be titled Star Wars: Shadow of Maul and Marvel have revealed a first look at the series covers, as well as a brief description of what the series will explore. The comic is scheduled to release March of next year.
The upcoming animated show, Star Wars: Maul – Shadow Lord, will reveal Maul’s plan to rebuild his criminal syndicate on Janix, a planet untouched by the Empire. The STAR WARS: SHADOW OF MAUL comic series introduces this new setting and cast, including Captain Brander Lawson and his partner, a droid nicknamed Two Boots, as they investigate shadowy dealings on Janix.
