Xbox Game Pass February 2025 Departures: What to Play Before Missing Out
Microsoft has announced the second batch of games that will be removed from Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on February 28, 2025. The lineup includes titles like Yakuza 3 Remastered, Yakuza 4 Remastered, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, Maneater, Gris, Space Engineers, and Paw Patrol World. Let’s take a closer look at these games and provide some tips to maximize your achievements and playtime before they depart.
Games Leaving Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass on February 28
For those with limited time over the next two weeks, Paw Patrol World and Gris are excellent choices. Both games are relatively short, with completion estimates of around eight hours each. Paw Patrol World and Gris offer easy Gamerscore opportunities, making them ideal for quickly accumulating points.
Gris, in particular, features numerous collectibles that require careful attention to detail. Utilize the Gris walkthrough for guidance on collecting all the hidden items and securing the maximum Gamerscore possible.
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun, with a completion time of about eight to ten hours, also provides an accessible experience. While the game includes difficult achievements, players can leverage the invincibility option in the accessibility menu to simplify the process. Additionally, finding all the secrets in each chapter can significantly boost your Gamerscore.
Maneater, a survival-horror game, is another good option if you’re looking to earn 1,000 Gamerscore within 12 hours. The game is filled with collectibles scattered throughout its levels, so staying vigilant can help you unlock all the available achievements.
Longer Games for More Achievements
If you have about 50 hours to spare, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is worth considering for its base list of 1,000 Gamerscore points. However, completing the game and collecting all the hidden items can be challenging due to its soulslike mechanics and numerous collectibles.
The two Yakuza remasters, Yakuza 3 Remastered and Yakuza 4 Remastered, offer extensive playtime with completion estimates of 80-100 hours for Yakuza 3 and 60-80 hours for Yakuza 4. These titles provide a wealth of achievements and collectibles, making them highly rewarding for dedicated players. For those with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on PC, you can double up on achievements by playing both games on PC as well, earning an additional 1,000 Gamerscore points for each title.
Final Farewell: Space Engineers
Rounding out the list is Space Engineers, which presents a unique challenge due to one discontinued achievement, I’ve Got Present For You. This discontinuation means earning the full 1,000 Gamerscore base list is currently impossible. However, you can still strive for achievement points by working towards unlockable items and milestones within the game.
