A statement released by the US White House on Sunday states that Vens and the delegation will stay in Greenland from Thursday to Saturday to see historical objects and get to know the history and culture of the island. The statement does not mention Volcs.
Vensa will first arrive in the island’s capital Nuka and then visit the traditional dog carts in the second largest city in Sisimiut, which will begin on Saturday, the Greenland newspaper Sermitsiaq reports.
Referring to anonymous sources, Danish broadcasters DR and TV 2 report that the US government has asked Vensa to hold a formal meeting with Denmark and Greenland officials, but received a refusal.
At the beginning of January, Trump’s son, Donald Trump‘s youngest, came to Nuka on a private visit to Nuka.
Trump has repeatedly expressed his desire to take over Denmark -owned Greenland under US control and has not ruled out the possibility of using military force.
