From February 28 to March 2, 2025, the Féru des Sciences de Nancy vibrated to the rhythm of the Scientific Game Jama unique event which brought together more than 50 participants from all backgrounds: researchers, teachers, doctoral students, students, and video game enthusiasts. The concept? Pushing the limits of science through the playful prism of video games. A stimulating challenge where creativity and innovation combined to give birth to 9 games entirely designed in just 48 hours (Catalyst, Quantum Knights, Oni Pro, Pictower, Resonae, Sway, Earth in Sight, Woodland Restoration).
On the program for this 2025 edition:s hours of programming, graphics, reflection and of course passion. The teams put their expertise and imagination at the service of various scientific themes, combining rigor and play. “It’s a place where we can unleash our creativity.ty while addressing scientific issues in a concrete and fun way,” explain several participants. In addition to creative moments, inspiring conferences nourished the minds of participants throughout the weekend.
A Sunday afternoon to share and exchange
The half-day of Sunday afternoon was a key moment of the event, allowing the entire public to discover the projects created. Curious people, students, enthusiasts or the general public had the opportunity to test the games, interact with the developers and discover the extent of the talents brought together for the occasion. A real success of meeting and sharing!

The 2026 edition: already in the starting blocks
The 2026 edition is already on the horizon. Appointment is made for the weekend of January 30 to February 1, 2026, for a new scientific and fun adventure. Whether you are passionate about science, a fan of video games or simply curious, this new edition promises even more innovative projects and moments of collective creation.
