The IMAX of Knowledge renews its billboard with a triple proposal designed for audiences of all ages. “No Mercy”, the futuristic thriller starring Chris Pratt and Rebecca Ferguson, continues on screen, and “Avatar, Fire and Ashes” and “Zootopia 2” are added. Tickets are on sale at parquedeltrabajo.com, with special promotions on Fridays (2×1) and Sundays (4×2).
The IMAX billboard for this weekend is made up of three high-impact productions. Whether due to its technical deployment, its narrative ambition or its box office performance, Sin Piedad, Avatar, fuego y ashes and Zootopia 2 represent different ways of understanding contemporary cinema spectacle, with proposals that range from science fiction thrillers to large-scale animation, all conceived to be seen on a giant screen.
Three large-scale productions make up the IMAX billboard for this weekend. Whether due to collection, investment or technical deployment, these films marked the recent cinematographic calendar. In the case of Sin Piedad, directed by Timur Bekmambetov, the proposal aims to provoke reflection based on astonishment, through a science fiction thriller with an unusual narrative structure.
The film takes place in real time and its 90-minute duration coincides with the trial carried out by an Artificial Intelligence in a society overwhelmed by crime. Far from the classic superhero scheme, the judicial system uses AI – embodied by Rebecca Ferguson – to establish an agile and expeditious model: when the probability of guilt exceeds 92 percent, the execution is immediate.
Regarding this narrative device, Chris Pratt pointed out in interviews that filming in real time implied an interpretive and technical challenge, since the actors interact with real screens where they parade images that reconstruct and, at the same time, incriminate the protagonist in the murder of his wife.

In the field of animation, Zootopia 2 comes to IMAX after breaking several box-office records and positioning itself among the highest-grossing films in history. In addition, it earned an Oscar nomination for Best Animated Film.
Its production involved more than 700 artists, with 178 characters, 67 different species and completely new settings, which translates into a notable visual leap. The voice cast once again brings together figures from film and music such as Shakira, Ed Sheeran, Dwayne Johnson, Michael J. Fox, Macaulay Culkin, Idris Elba, Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman, among others.

Completing the billboard is Avatar, fire and ashes, the new installment of the saga conceived by James Cameron. True to his style, the director once again opts for a technical and visual display designed especially for the giant screen.
With a duration of close to three hours, the film combines the epic scale characteristic of the Pandora universe with a story more focused on family, grief and emotional reconstruction. With nominations for the Oscars, the saga shows that, more than two decades after its debut, it is still fully relevant, as reflected at the box office around the world.
