Several schools remain closed Wednesday across the province due to power outages.

This is particularly the case for the Maurault and Vincent-Lemire schools, affiliated with the Riveraine School Service Center.
On the Laval side, the schools of Val-Ruisseau, du Bois-Joli, Jean-Lemonde, Léon-Guilbault and Notre-Dame-du-Sourire will not open due to a power outage.
The Vert-Demain primary school, in Saint-Paul (only this establishment of the Passerelle school), and the Rive secondary school, in Lavaltrie, will also be closed.
The Moissons and Jean-De La Fontaine schools, at the Affluents School Service Center, will also remain closed.
More than 33,000 homes are still without electricity in the province due to Tuesday’s strong winds.
