MANILA, Philippines — P-pop group SB19 has now surpassed 1 billion streams on music streaming platform Spotify.
World Music Awards congratulated the group for their new achievement.
“Philippine Superstar Boy Band, SB19, has now surpassed 1 BILLION streams on Spotify across all credits!” World Music Awards captioned their post.
“They are the most-streamed Philippine boy band in Spotify history!” it added.
SB19 recently confirmed they will stage the “Wakas at Simula” homecoming concert to wrap up a trilogy set of shows.
The concert is scheduled on April 18 at the SMDC Festival Grounds.
“Many disasters, I didn’t expect it, we are finally here,” SB19 wrote on social media in making the announcement.
The group wrapped up their “Simula at Wakas” world tour with four stops in Australia and New Zealand last December.
The tour brought them to 19 cities to promote their third extended play “Simula at Wakas,” which completed its own trilogy after “Pagsibol” and “Pagtatag.”
