On September 11, 2025, SAPPHIRE announced that it was launching an attack on the global market for AM5 motherboards. To do this, the firm revealed the list of 6 motherboards now distributed across the globe. However, we did not discover any models based on high-end chipsets fromAMD : the X870 and X870E. Two weeks later, however, a leak made it clear that a motherboard was indeed being prepared to take its place at the top of the manufacturer’s range: the SAPPHIRE PURE X870A WIFI 7.
It has still not been made official by SAPPHIRE, but a South African reseller has just spilled the beans by posting the product sheet for the motherboard online. We discover its characteristics as well as numerous photos, as follows:

If you were hoping for a “reliable” price and an availability date, however, you will have to come back. Remember that SAPPHIRE has not even announced the launch yet, so patience is still required for this latest essential data, it is true. We can still cite an Australian reseller, who indicates a price of $429 which is the equivalent of €264 including tax in France, or a Polish reseller who for his part displays it at 1069 zl which this time corresponds to €246 including tax. Rather close values which still allow us to say that it should be around €250 once made official.
Why is “(almost) flagship” in the title of the news? Because if it has not yet leaked as much as this PURE X870A WIFI 7, another card as we know should not take long to be launched either: the SAPPHIRE NITRO+ X870EA WIFI 7. As soon as it is here, it will obviously be the flagship of the brand with its X870E chipset.
