SANTA TERESA, New Mexico – Santa Teresa High School has activated safety protocols following a report of a student suspected of carrying knives on campus. Authorities responded quickly, identifying the student and confiscating two knives without incident.
According to statements from educational authorities, there was no active threat to students or staff. During the investigation, all students were kept in their classrooms under supervision to ensure their well-being.
Parents were notified of the situation at 11:19 a.m., and normal activities at the school resumed at 12:01 p.m.
