Santa Caterina Market: 204 Stalls & Local Flavors

The Santa Caterina fair, the most awaited event of the Scandiano autumn, will once again enliven the historic center of Scandiano this year with three days dedicated to commerce, entertainment and culture scheduled for Sunday 23rd, Tuesday 25th and Sunday 30th November. There will be 204 stalls including street vendors, agricultural producers and intellectual works, distributed in a large widespread route that will touch Corso Garibaldi, Piazza della Libertà, Via Vallisneri, Via XXV Aprile, Piazza Spallanzani, Piazza Laura Bassi, Piazza Duca d’Aosta and Via Pellegrini. From 21st to 30th November the amusement park in the roundabout of the Parco della Resistenza will also be open: from 3pm to 9pm on weekdays and from 9am to 10pm on holidays.

On November 23, at 3.30 pm, the guided tour ‘In the steps of the patron saint: an itinerary between faith, history and art in the heart of Scandiano’. On November 25th, for the international day for the elimination of violence against women, the fair will host the #responsabilitutti initiative with an information gazebo and traveling flash mobs organized by the Polisportiva Scandianese. Local associations will find space in via Pellegrini, while the Red Cross will be present in front of the cinema with an information point. The fair is organized in collaboration with Com.Re. and Pro Loco of Scandiano with the contribution of Ferretti Carrozzeria.
