San Antonio Home: Beat the Post-Holiday Blues

by drbyos

As a child, I always considered the first Sunday of the year the saddest day of the year. Christmas had come and gone and the naughty vs. nice accounting started over. The same with the New Year’s Eve parties my parents would throw with family and friends. The first Sunday of the year meant going back to school the next day. The holiday season was officially over.

As an adult, I still consider the first Sunday of the year the saddest day of the year. The festive holiday decorations are being tucked away for another year, and the last of the airport runs are done, so loved ones can get back to their lives. After two weeks of fun hustle and bustle, it’s back to work, carpool, and the everyday routine that is not nearly as enjoyable. I know I am not alone here. It’s as though we need a vacation from the vacation that just happened.

After doing some research, CandysDirt.com has determined that the best place to enjoy a holiday after the holidays is San Antonio. It makes perfect sense. The weather is wonderful and the margaritas are plentiful.
