1. Ask the Prime Minister what he did for 15 years
The South Korean electronics giant Samsung is leaving Slovakia. After closing the factory in Voderady in 2018, the factory in Galant, which manufactures televisions, is also closing. Approximately 800 people will lose their jobs. Only the East Slovak pulp mill Bukóza in Vranov nad Topľou has laid off more people since the covid pandemic. Samsung will keep only the logistics center in Slovakia.
If Robert Fico were in the opposition, he would shout how the state and its citizens are paying for an incompetent government that cannot retain key investors. From the position of the prime minister, he communicates information lukewarmly and talks about the decline in interest in televisions.
It is understandable – as a person who has run the country for fifteen of the last twenty years, and therefore bears a decisive part of the responsibility for its condition, he does not have many better options.
