Samsung Electronics Co. and SK Hynix Inc., the world’s two largest memory chipmakers, are expected to surpass global foundry leader Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) in profitability in the fourth quarter for their memory businesses for the first time in seven years, semiconductor industry sources in Seoul said on Sunday.
