BeritaNasional.com – Samsung officially announced a big step in its digital ecosystem starting this year, all the smart devices made, including refrigerators, washing machines, to other kitchen equipment, will carry the One UI interface.
Not only limited to smartphones, tablets, and smart watches, now One UI will be a “face” that unites all the user experiences in Samsung products.
From the cellphone screen to the refrigerator screen: One Ui is now present at home
Through this approach, Samsung wants to provide a consistent and familiar user experience, no matter what device is used. Just like Huawei with Harmonyos, Samsung has ambitions to make One UI the main foundation for all its ecosystems.
Not only the interface display, users will also feel Samsung’s special applications such as Bixby, Gallery, to Samsung TV Plus directly on their refrigerator screen or washing machine.
All of this is supported by the integration of smartthings that will strengthen connectivity between smart devices in the home.
One UI 7 feature is now present in the kitchen
One of the latest features, Now Brief, which was introduced through One UI 7, can now be accessed directly from the refrigerator screen. Its function is quite interesting to display daily weather, family schedule, adjusted recipes, to the status of other home devices. For example, you can check when the laundry will be finished enough from the refrigerator door.
For devices released starting in 2024 and have been connected Wi-Fi, Samsung promises support for software updates for the next 7 years. This makes it one of the household electronic producers with long -term commitment to software support.
Refrigerator with a 9 -inch Family Hub screen will get the AI Vision Inside feature, which is able to recognize packaged foods and fresh ingredients only with internal cameras. Meanwhile, Bixby is now equipped with voice ID, allowing the system to recognize user sounds and present more personal experiences.
Samsung TV Plus will also be expanded to several new markets such as Canada, Brazil and India, after previously only available in certain areas.
Security is a priority through Trust Chain
On the security side, Samsung provides One UI on a home device with Knox Security and a private blockchain technology named Trust Chain.
This system ensures that each device is connected safely and monitor each other’s security conditions – if there are violations or threats, the system will immediately detect and respond.
