SEOUL – Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. has announced its newest Smart Monitor lineup, featuring the flagship Smart Monitor M9 (Model M90SF) alongside the updated Smart monitor M8 (Model M80F) and M7 (Model M70F). The introduction of QD-OLED technology in the M9, coupled with advanced AI functionalities across the range, aims to provide users with a more personalized and interconnected experience for both work and entertainment.

The Smart Monitor M9 marks the debut of QD-OLED technology in samsungs smart monitor range. Its 32-inch 4K QD-OLED screen delivers deep contrasts and vibrant colors, enhancing visual experiences for productivity, streaming, and gaming. Samsung’s OLED safeguard+ technology is designed to maintain screen integrity over time with a dedicated cooling system that mitigates burn-in risks. Additionally, the M9 incorporates a glare-Free screen to minimize reflections, ensuring consistent visibility and comfort even in brightly lit environments.

The M9 is equipped with AI Picture Optimizer,4K AI upscaling Pro,and Active Voice Amplifier (AVA) Pro,which collectively enhance image and sound quality in real-time based on content and the surrounding environment. The monitor automatically adjusts to deliver optimal performance whether users are watching, creating, or multitasking.

As a smart entertainment hub, the M9 provides access to popular streaming apps, Samsung TV Plus, and the Samsung Gaming Hub, enabling cloud gaming without the need for a console or PC. A 165 Hz refresh rate, a 0.03 ms response time, and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility support smooth, fast-moving visuals, making it suitable for intensive gaming sessions.

The M9 features a slim metal design, blending a premium aesthetic with functional form, making it a modern addition to any workspace.

The Smart Monitor M9 has received Pantone Validated certification for its accurate and reliable color performance. This certification confirms that the M9 has met stringent testing standards and can reproduce over 2,100 colors and more than 110 skintone colors from the Pantone library. Paired with the QD-OLED screen, the monitor displays images as content creators intended, delivering lifelike and clear visuals for all applications.

Smart Monitor M8 and M7: Versatile Screens with AI Functionality and Improved Connectivity

The new Smart Monitor M8 and Smart Monitor M7 expand Samsung’s Smart Monitor experience to a broader audience. The 32-inch 4K UHD screens offer impressive image quality and built-in AI functions. equipped with Samsung’s VA panel technology, both models deliver sharp details and rich contrast, making them suitable for productivity, streaming, and more.

All three models integrate SmartThings, support Multi Control between Samsung devices, and offer Multi View for simultaneous work and entertainment. Microsoft 365 access allows users to create and edit documents directly from the monitor without a PC.

Pricing and Availability

The Smart Monitors M9, M8, and M7 will be available starting July 14 in 32-inch screen sizes, with the M7 also offered in a 43-inch version. The M9 starts at €1699, the M8 at €699, and the M7 at €399 for the 32-inch model and €499 for the 43-inch model. Availability may vary by market.

Samsung is committed to long-term usability and support, offering up to seven years of Tizen upgrades for the Smart monitor lineup, ensuring users can continue to access the latest features and services. Free One UI Tizen upgrades are available for Smart Monitor models released from 2023.
