Samsung started to roll out its February 2026 Android update yesterdayand quite a few devices started receiving it. Well, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are now joining the party.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 & Flip 6 are now getting the February 2026 update

Tarun Vats spotted this change in Korea. Both the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Flip 6 have started getting the update in Korea first, same as all the other devices that we’ve mentioned in the first paragraph.

His post does not state how large the update is, but it’s likely around 350MB, same as for the other devices. Do note that the update will quickly spread to other markets, even though it’s rolling out in stages, so some of you will need to be patient.

This update does not really include any new features either way. It is packed with security patches, but that’s about it. So you’re essentially getting under the hood changes here.

This update brings 37 security fixes overall

Speaking of patches, the February 2026 Android security patch from Samsung delivers 37 security fixes overall. 25 of those fixes are provided by Google, while the remaining 12 are pushed out by Samsung.

You likely won’t see any change in your usage, as there are security fixes only. Samsung did not mention anything else in the changelog. However, One UI 8.5 is right around the corner, so new features are coming.

The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S26 series will debut One UI 8.5. Those phones are coming tomorrow, and the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 are both eligible to get the One UI 8.5 update. That will happen later this year, though. We’re not sure when exactly.
