Samoa Joe has his eyes on a potential matchup against Will Ospreay when the the former AEW International Champion returns from injury. During a recent interview with The F Y’all Podcast with C.T. Fletcherthe AEW World Trios Champion was asked who he’d like to face, and Joe named Ospreay as a desired opponent.
Samoa Joe said on Will Ospreay (via Fightful), “I’d love a crack at Will Ospreay when he gets healthy and gets back. He’s definitely somebody I haven’t locked up with. That would be fun.” The two wrestlers have never faced each other inside the ring.
As notedOspreay is currently recovering after undergoing a successful neck surgery.
