salvador Ramírez stepped down from his position as communication coordinator for the Morena parliamentary group in the Chamber of Deputies on Friday, following criticism of his remarks regarding the murder of political activist charlie Kirk.

Earlier, Salvador Ramírez issued an apology on social media for his statements made during a television news analysis segment.

“I do the above as I do not want to affect under any circumstances that the comments of which I apologized and did personal, relate to the Parliamentary group,” he stated in his online message.

Salvador ramírez clarified that his appearances on television are as a political analyst and not as a representative of morena.

“I will be very emphatic in the fact that I slip from my words entirely to both Morena and the parliamentary group and again to the television channel that simply opens the doors to his debate table,” he said.

During the political debate concerning the homicide of Charlie Kirk, Salvador Ramírez commented “that they gave him a tablespoon of his own chocolate” regarding Kirk’s political stances on issues like gun control.
