Mohamed Salah is feeling disappointment at Liverpool. The man from Egypt indicated that he could leave Anfield in January.
Liverpool had to settle for a 3-3 draw at Leeds United headquarters in the Premier League continued, Sunday (7/12/2025). The Reds temporarily sit in eighth place with 23 points.
After this match, Salah spoke at length about his feelings at Liverpool. He is not played at all by Arne Slot.

This means that Salah has not been in the starting eleven for three consecutive matches. He was previously unused when Liverpool beat West Ham United and was a substitute in the draw with Sunderland.
Mo Salah feels he has been made the scapegoat for Liverpool’s downturn this season. The match against Brighton & Hove Albion FC at Anfield on December 13 could also be a farewell moment.
“I have said many times before that I have a good relationship with the manager, but suddenly, our relationship became strained. I don’t know why, but in my opinion, from my point of view, it seems like someone doesn’t want me at this club,” said Salah as quoted by The Guardian.
“This club, I have always supported it. My children will always support it. I really love this club and always will.”
“I called my mother yesterday – you (journalists) don’t know whether I’ll start or not, but I know. Yesterday I said (to my mother): ‘Come to the Brighton game. I don’t know if I’ll play or not, but I’ll enjoy it.’ In my mind, I will enjoy the game because I don’t know what will happen now.”
“I will be at Anfield to say goodbye to the fans and go to the Africa Cup of Nations. I don’t know what will happen when I’m there. In football, you never know. I don’t accept this situation. I have done a lot for this club,” he stressed.
The Africa Cup of Nations will start on December 22 2025. Egypt plays its first match against Zimbabwe on December 23 and Mo Salah is still in the team.
