Pierre-Marc, 36, is a regular donor. Accompanied by his daughter and while the nurse takes his sample, he displays a broad smile and declares: “Donating blood means putting myself at the service of others, it is a simple and supportive gesture. »
Viviane Machuret, treasurer of the association for the donation of human organs and tissues of Côte-d’Or (ADOT 21) held a stand to inform and raise public awareness. “My presence is logical insofar as organ transplantation and blood transfusion are totally linked. I explain to those present the issues of organ donation and the importance of increasing the number of donors. »
