Ryanair Expands Summer 2025 Schedule with 123 New Routes, Including Rabat
Ryanair has unveiled an extensive new Summer 2025 schedule that features a record-breaking 123 destinations. This significant expansion includes a new route to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, set to operate twice-weekly from March 31.
Rabat, known for its picturesque architecture and historical importance, situated on the Atlantic coast approximately 90 kilometers north of Casablanca, will welcome the Dublin-based airline. This addition highlights Ryanair’s growing footprint in Morocco, following the opening of its fourth base in Tangier last year.
Currently, Ryanair operates flights from Dublin to Agadir and Marrakech. Competitor Aer Lingus also provides direct flights to Marrakech, underscoring the increasing competition in the North African market.
Enhancements to Popular Routes
To cater to growing demand, Ryanair will be adding extra flights to 18 popular destinations. These include cities such as Faro, Ibiza, Malta, Milan, and Valencia, indicating a focus on popular vacation spots and leisure destinations.
Ryanair’s Increasing Presence in Morocco
Ryanair has been steadily expanding its operations in Morocco, with a strategic move to increase its presence through new bases and routes. The addition of the Rabat route is part of this broader strategy to capitalize on the growing interest in North African destinations among international travelers.
Travel Tips for Morocco
It’s essential for travelers to note that Morocco, despite being a favorite among Europeans, is located in Africa. This means that travel insurance should be comprehensive, covering worldwide travel rather than just Europe. A robust travel insurance policy will provide necessary protection in case of emergencies or unforeseen circumstances.
