“We intend to continue with the serious and direct negotiations with Ukraine that they themselves suspended in April 2022, under the influence of the then British prime minister Boris Johnson and other Rusophobes,” said Nebenzia.
The Russian representative emphasized that Moscow will continue its special military operation until kyiv ceases provocations and attacks on civilian infrastructure within Russia.
“While kyiv continues to prolong the war and cause Russia, attacking residential and civil infrastructures in our territory, we will continue our special military operation and destroy the facilities related to the military potential of the kyiv regime,” he stated.
Nebenzia added, “And no new anti -Russian sanctions, no weapons supplies to Ukraine or other hostile measures to Russia will prevent the unavoidable military defeat of the Zelenski regime.”
He reiterated Russia’s desire to maintain peace negotiations with Ukraine, which kyiv paused in 2022. “Its result should be a solution that reliably eliminates the deep causes of the Ukrainian conflict and threats to the security of our country from Ukraine,” he explained.
“Now the choice is from Ukraine: peace as an inevitable result of negotiations or an inevitable defeat on the battlefield with other conditions for the end of the conflict,” Nebenzia concluded.
