Romania Grapples with Low Vaccination Rates: New Strategies Emerge

Addressing Vaccine Hesitancy and Improving Access

Romania faces a meaningful public health challenge with current vaccination coverage hovering between 50% and 60%. This rate lags behind many other European nations, raising concerns about the potential for outbreaks of preventable diseases. In response, Romanian authorities are implementing new legislative measures aimed at boosting these figures.
