Dekpol Budownictwode will design the first phase, de 20,000 MPof a logistics park. In December, the company signed an agreement with an international developer present on the local market, to carry out the design works, as well as obtaining the building permit for phase I of a logistics park in Bucharest, announced the Polish builder on the LinkedIn page.
The decision to begins operations on the Romanian market it was preceded by a detailed analysis of local conditions and market potential. This also represents the company’s first international step outside of Poland.
“Following this, we hired a local team of technical consultants and we established collaborations with design offices from Romania. This allows efficient and responsible design work to be carried out, in accordance with the local regulatory framework and the business environment”, the announcement also states the company.
Dekpol Budownictwo is part of the group Capital Dekpol and has been active for over 30 years.
The company specializes in construction projects: industrial, logistics, commercial, public utility, residential and hotel.
Dekpol Budownictwo has a qualified team of specialists and owns its own equipment park for earthworks and road infrastructure, consisting of over 100 units of modern equipment.
Among the projects in which it is involved in Poland is the construction of a 42,000 m2 warehouse for the retailer Zabka, also present in Romania.
It is a two construction companies which enters the local market within three months.
Economica.net reported in October that ONDE, one of the largest builders and developers of renewable energy projects in Poland, is expanding its operations in Romania.
ONDE will compete for contracts for the construction of wind farms, photovoltaic installations and energy storage facilities.
