A great evening for Roman Josi and the Predators. The Bernese delivered three assists during Nashville’s 7-3 victory against Colorado Avalanche, the best team in the NHL.
The Swiss captain, who had already distinguished himself with a double on Tuesday against Edmonton (4-3), was involved in Ryan O’Reilly‘s 3-2, Filip Forsberg’s 5-3 (5 against 4) and Steven Samkos‘ 6-3 (into the empty goal). He now has 18 assists this season.
Moser and Fiala beaten
Janis Moser had less success with Tampa Bay. The Lightning lost 3-2 on penalties to the St. Louis Blues, who were still without injured Zurich player Pius Suter. The Icelandic defender spent more than 22 minutes on the ice, but did not mark the scoreboard.
Saint-Welsh Kevin Fiala also experienced a fatal “shootout” with Los Angeles. The Kings lost 3-2 to their neighbors Anaheim. The Swiss forward failed against Ducks goalkeeper Lukas Dostal during the penalty shootout.
