Late on Wednesday morning (December 17) Vodafone started having problems in Italy, with the first reports received by downdetector and also by the editorial staff of RiminiToday. Severe inconveniences are recorded in Romagna, in particular in the areas of Rimini and Forlì.
Vodafone through a note confirms “that a temporary outage is underway caused by two faults in the Fibercop network in the areas of Rimini and Forlì with inconvenience for fixed and mobile network customers. The technicians are working to restore services as quickly as possible. We apologize to the customers involved and will update promptly on the progress of the work”.

On the downdetector portal there are numerous reports arriving from citizens of Rimini. “Rimini and its province are currently Vodafone mobile ko” writes Mauri. Another user reports: “Have you also been hearing “no service” for a few minutes? I tried turning off the iPhone and turning it back on, but nothing changes: Romagna area (Riccione). And again: “At the moment in Rimini even the Fttc Ftth lines are having problems with slowdowns and disconnections”.
