Robert ten Brink returns to his ‘old love’: the studio of All you need is love. The program, which has been a permanent part of the Dutch TV landscape since 1992, has broadcast the Christmas special every year since the corona crisis from the atmospheric streets of Amsterdam.

‘Ready for innovation’
However, the studio, where reunions took place in every corner of the set, was missed by many viewers. “In the beginning I missed the studio, that was due to corona,” the RTL4 presenter admits.

“But we were also a bit ready as makers at the time,” he continues. “At a certain point it became the same exercise over and over again in the studio. Then you knew it. So we all discovered wonderful things on location.”
Forty years in the business
70-year-old Robert ten Brink has been in the business for more than forty years. He made his debut on the radio at the KRO in the late 1970s. He later became its presenter Youth newswith which he made his definitive breakthrough. At RTL4 he has the title Dr. Got love thanks to programs like All you need is love in Love is in the air.
There will be no new season of Friends Lottery Millionaires for the time being
It was recently announced that Ten Brink will no longer be appearing with the quiz for the time being FriendsLottery Millionaires on Saturday evening. The presenter says that he does not rule out that the program will ever return. “That always happens in waves. Perhaps a different time slot in the guide would have resulted in higher viewing figures.”
