Attention wine fans: On Wednesday (03.09) the Rheingau wine market starts on the Frankfurt Fressgass. By September 12th, visitors can try regional wine there.

Enjoy a glass of wine in the middle of Frankfurt city center at the end of the day: this is excellent at the Rheingau wine market. Visitors can try over 600 wines and sect from the Rheingau at the event in Fressgass.
Product in the foreground
The special feature of this festival: the product wine – is in the foreground. This means that visitors can exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere with a total of 27 winegrowers.
“As every year, the winegrowers look forward to the wine market and to the discussions with the visitors,” says Dominik Russler, managing director of the Rheigau wine association, at the FFH mirrophone.
Wine majesties open the wine market
On Wednesday, the Rheingau Weinkönign Lena Orth and the Frankfurt wine queen Lena Roie open the Rheingau Weinmarkt at Fressgassbrunnen.
It is a special day for Roie: she releases her crown. “During my tenure I experienced countless, beautiful moments and got to know wonderful people: I would like to thank you from the heart. I also wish my successor a wonderful term.”
