Corporate supermarkets (SSMs), which were dying out due to higher prices compared to large supermarkets and lower accessibility compared to convenience stores, are being revived. As the high price situation continues, the demand for ‘home cooked food’, which shows eating patterns of short distances, small quantities, and high frequency, has increased, and the strategy that has to tailor for this has been evaluated as effective. The strengthening of fresh and instant food products and the introduction of immediate supply are considered to be the secrets of the revival.

Analyzing the statistics of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy on the 6th, it was found that the total sales of the company SSM GS The Fresh, Lotte Super, Home Plus Express, and E-Mart Everyday last year increased by about 3.7% compared to’ the same period last year, growing for the first time in five years. This is unusual compared to the repeated negative growth every year since recording a growth rate of 2% in 2018.

If there were any doubts about the stability of the firewall against right-wing extremists, then he dispelled them with a decisive attack against the AfD. He launched an attack against the right-wing radicals and the CDU party conference rewarded this determination with stormy applause. A little more offense wouldn’t have hurt either. It remains to be seen how far he can carry this spirit of optimism and new determination through the 2024 election year. The results of the elections in Europe and the three Eastern countries will also determine the CDU’s willingness to follow its leader.
