Saudi Arabia Executes Citizen for Murder in Eastern Province

The Ministry of Interior announced the execution of Sabah bin Amer bin Saffah al-Shammari for the murder of Abdul razzaq bin Isa bin Abdul Razzaq Al-Maimouni.
RIYADH – The Ministry of Interior has announced the execution of a Saudi national, Sabah bin Amer bin Saffah al-Shammari, in the Eastern Province on Saturday, 26/11/1446 AH, corresponding to may 24, 2025 AD.The execution was carried out for the murder of Abdul Razzaq bin Isa bin Abdul Razzaq Al-Maimouni, also a Saudi national.
According to the Ministry’s statement, Al-shammari killed Al-Maimouni by striking him on the head with a solid object, resulting in his death. The statement referenced Quranic verses regarding justice and retribution in cases of killing.
Following the crime, security authorities arrested Al-Shammari. An investigation led to his indictment, and the competent court issued a judgment against him, which was upheld after appeals to the Supreme court. A royal decree was issued to enforce the court’s decision.
