Honoring Theresa Kenneally: A Heartfelt Farewell
On February 7, 2025, Theresa Kenneally (Aisling Lawn, Ballincollig, and late of Glencuttane Cross, Kilgobnet, Beaufort, Killarney) left this world peacefully, surrounded by the love of her family. Her passing has left a profound void, but her memory will endure in the hearts of those who loved her.
About Theresa Kenneally
Theresa was a beloved wife to John and a loving mother to Conor. She was the light of her family’s life, a cherished daughter, sister, aunt, and friend to many. Theresa was predeceased by her parents, William and Nora, her sisters Kathleen and Mary, and her brother Donal. Her calming presence and kind spirit will be greatly missed by her husband John, son Conor, brothers Paudie, Liam, and Gerald, sisters Sheila, Noreen, and Bernie, her sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, extended family, neighbors, and a wide circle of friends. Theresa’s legacy of love and kindness will continue to touch the lives of those she left behind.
Memorial Services
The family has arranged for opportunities for friends and family to pay their respects.
Lying in Repose
Lying in repose will take place at Crowley’s Funeral Home in Ballincollig (P31 W982) on Saturday, February 8, from 6 PM to 7 PM. Join the family to offer your condolences during this visitation time.
For those unable to attend Saturday, lying in repose will continue on Sunday, February 9, at Flynn’s Funeral Home in Killorglin (V93 PK66) from 6 PM to 7:30 PM, followed by prayers.
Requiem Mass
Arequiem Mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 10, at 10:30 AM in St. James’ Church, Killorglin. This is a time for the community to come together to honor Theresa’s life and offer support to her family.
The funeral procession will then follow to Ardmoniel Cemetery in Killorglin, where Theresa will be laid to rest.
A Tribute to a Life Well Lived
Theresa Kenneally’s life was one of love, service, and selfless dedication to her family and friends. She will be remembered for her kindness, her strength, and her unwavering support. While we grieve the loss of her physical presence, her spirit will live on through the memories shared and the lives she touched.
