Reha Muhtar Blacklisted: What Happened?

Reha Muhtar, who argued with the staff at Istanbul Airport on the grounds that she missed the flight, was banned from flights and blacklisted by Turkish Airlines (THY).

Regarding the issue, THY Communications Director Yahya Üstün made a statement on his social media account.

In his statement, Üstün said, “Airport security rules apply to everyone’s safety and no exceptions are made. Reha Muhtar, who tried to violate these rules before her flight and behaved inappropriately towards the staff, is now blacklisted on Turkish Airlines flights. Flight safety and respect for people are always a priority for us.”
