Xiaomi is preparing to launch a new Redmi series phone with a huge 9,000 mAh battery, according to new leaks.
The phone will support 100-watt fast charging, according to the famous leaker Digital Chat Station on the Chinese Weibo platform.
Xiaomi is also working on a prototype with a 10,000 mAh battery.

Redmi phone with the largest battery
If this information is correct, the new phone, which has not yet been revealed, will be one of the largest phones in terms of battery capacity.
Some Chinese sources believe that the phone in question is the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5, but this contradicts recent reports that indicated that this phone will carry a battery with a capacity of only 7,500 mAh.
However, it is likely that this phone will not leave the Chinese market, or at least will not retain the same battery capacity when launched globally.
Until now, Chinese versions of phones containing large silicon-carbon batteries are usually offered with lower capacities in Europe and other markets.
