Xiaomi Indonesia ensures Redmi Note 15 Series will launch in Indonesia in four different models, namely Redmi Note 15, Redmi Note 15 5G, Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G, and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G.
Xiaomi Indonesia’s Head of Public Relations, Abee Hakeem, said that the presence of these four variants aims to reach the needs of various users, from casual users to active users who need a smartphone with higher specifications and durability.
According to him, all variants were developed with the Gen Z character as the main reference, namely users who want a device that is tough, practical, and able to withstand various conditions of daily use.
Redmi Titan Durability is the Main Differentiator
The main advantage of the Redmi Note 15 Series lies in technology Redmi Titan Durability. This technology is designed as a new standard of durability for the Redmi Note line, with a comprehensive approach that extends from physical protection to battery life.
Redmi Titan Durability is built on three main pillars, namely impact resistance, water resistance and longer battery life. These three aspects are the main focus for the development of the Redmi Note 15 Series in terms of device design and engineering.
Abee emphasized that this increase in durability is not just a marketing claim, but is the result of a series of intensive tests carried out before the product is marketed.
Impact Resistance with SGS 5 Star Certification
On the aspect drop resistanceRedmi Note 15 Series has received certification SGS Premium Performance Certification 5 Stars. This certification includes testing of the device’s drop resistance, pressure resistance, and bending resistance.
Xiaomi explained that the testing process was carried out on more than 50 different sets. Each test is repeated tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands of times, to ensure long-term quality consistency.
This test involves various important smartphone components, starting from the USB port, power and volume buttons, to the device’s ability to withstand high temperatures and pressure. This approach is intended to ensure that the device remains optimal even after intensive use for years.
High Water Resistance up to IP69K
The second pillar of Redmi Titan Durability is water resistance. Xiaomi understands that water is still one of the main causes of damage to electronic devices, including smartphones.
Redmi Note 15 Series has been provided with certification TÜV SÜDwhich indicates that the device has passed the water resistance test according to international standards. For the Pro Series variant, Xiaomi provides extra protection with a high water resistance rating.
Redmi Note 15 Pro and Pro Plus 5G are equipped with protection ranging from IP66, IP68, IP69, to IP69K. For real use, the Pro Series device is claimed to be able to survive in water to a depth of around two meters and remain safe for a certain duration.
Specifically for the Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus 5G, IP69K certification is an added value because this standard is commonly used in the automotive industry which demands extreme resistance to high pressure water spray and hot temperatures.
AI Wet Touch 2.0 remains responsive in wet conditions
Not only is it waterproof, the Redmi Note 15 Series is also equipped with features AI Wet Touch 2.0. This technology allows the screen to remain responsive even in wet conditions or exposed to certain liquids.
Xiaomi says the screen can still be operated properly even if it is exposed to water, oil, foam or other liquids. This feature is designed to support comfortable use in real situations without sacrificing touch response.

Price and Schedule Announcement
Regarding the official price in Indonesia, Xiaomi said that the detailed official price for the Redmi Note 15 Series will be announced in the near future. The announcement is scheduled to take place towards the end of January 2026.
With a combination of high level physical durability, official certification, and a significant increase in battery life, the Redmi Note 15 Series is predicted to be one of the most competitive mid-range smartphones when it is officially launched in Indonesia.
