An Evening Dedicated to a Master: Ernst Barlach Remembered

On May 9th, 2025, at 7 PM, the cultural memory center in Ueckermünde will host a unique event blending literature and music, all centered around the profound impact of Ernst Barlach. Author and poet Michael Schmal will present his original works, offering a fresh perspective on the life and artistic contributions of the renowned sculptor, writer, and dramatist.

Michael Schmal, deeply rooted in Mecklenburg, brings a personal touch to his exploration of Barlach. Film Screening: “The Lost Angel”
