Rafael Nadal (39, Spain), who boasts a total of 22 wins in Grand Slam tournaments, announced on his SNS on the 13th that he had undergone surgery on his right hand.
He posted a photo of his right hand in a cast and said, “I had to have hand surgery for a problem I’ve been worrying about for a long time. I hope I get healthy soon.” At the same time, Nadal retired in 2024, but joked, “I don’t think I will be able to participate in the 2026 Australian Open.”
Nadal’s Instagram post received more than 400,000 likes and 7,000 comments in just 12 hours, cheering Nadal by saying, “I think I can play in the Bastard Tournament next summer,” “If you want, I can win with one hand,” and “I can win at Roland Garros with one hand and one foot.”
