Racine supported Nhood, a real estate services and solutions company, in the acquisition of SCC France, a leading player in property management.
Owned by the Mulliez Family Association, Nhood, created in 2021 and established in Europe and Africa, develops around thirty urban regeneration projects and manages more than 900 locations for its clients.
Its collective of experts imagines and implements innovative solutions to grow its clients’ real estate portfolio. An urban regenerator, Nhood creates “better places”, unique, pleasant and attractive, in which commerce and mixed uses play a central role for the benefit of all. It brings together the skills of more than 1,000 experts who cover the entire real estate value chain: asset management, shopping center operation, development and promotion. The Nhooders are developing an approach called “site vision” combining proximity, foresight and creativity, to project sites into the future and respond to new territorial challenges.
Thanks to the acquisition of 100% of SCC, Nhood, whose Nhood Property Management France division (290 employees and 10 mandate clients) already manages 78 shopping centers, for €55 million in turnover, becomes the leader in property management in France.
This acquisition is strategic for Nhood, which aims to become the reference and global leader in real estate services.
Racine intervened with a team composed of Jean-Christophe Beaury (Associate), Alexia Ruleta (Counsel) and Chloé Giannini (Associate), on the real estate law aspects of Nicolas Boytchev (Associate), Philippe Johnston (Counsel) and Ophélie Vo (Associate), on the social law aspects of Guillaume Thuleau (Partner) and Lena Gonzalez (Associate) and on the tax aspects of Quentin Cournot (Associate) and Lauriane Delisle (Associate).
Nhood was also supported on aspects of HR integration by the Alixio Group firm with a team made up of Isabelle Calvez (Deputy General Director) and Alexina Portal.
