Flying Whales, a company specializing in the production of airships designed for transporting heavy loads, is making significant strides in its global growth.Even before its production factory in Laruscade, France, is fully operational, the company has announced a strategic agreement to establish an assembly and testing site in Quebec, Canada.

During a meeting in Saint-savin on April 17, Clément Barthe project’s industrial director provided an update to local officials.the building permit request has been submitted, with a public inquiry scheduled for mid-June.

Flying Whales, which has received direct investment from the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region, has refined its plans to address concerns raised by environmental authorities. the completion of the production plant is now projected for early 2027, with the first airship expected to be commissioned in 2029.
