by Archynetys Entertainment Desk

Throughout the year, the Capitale-Nationale vibrates to the rhythm of events and festivals: here is what is on the program for the week of February 2 to 8.

1- Poutine Week

Dozens of restaurateurs from the Capitale-Nationale will concoct a special dish for poutine week which will run until Saturday, February 7.

K-Pout, Poutine tartiflette, Pout’Irlandaise… The event, which is taking the whole country by storm, will allow several chefs – even those who are not necessarily used to selling the Quebec dish – to let their creativity flow in order to combine their cuisine with that of Quebec, to offer creations, each more original than the last.

The Hôtel de Glace de Valcartier will maintain the magic, again this year, with its numerous thematic suites, its Grand Hall and its “magical” chapel where couples from all over the world come to get married each year, we can read on its website.

The hotel, made entirely of ice and snow, recently reopened its doors to visitors who will be able to enjoy the ephemeral experience both day and evening.

For those who are not afraid and want to live a “frosty experience”, it is possible to spend the night in the hotel, to dine in its gourmet restaurant in the very heart of the ice, or to have a drink in its ice bar.

  • When: until March 22, 2026
  • Where: at the Valcartier Holiday Village

5- AURA immersive experience at Saint-Roch Church

After dazzling more than two million spectators in Montreal, Paris and San Francisco, the immersive experience AURA, set up by the Montreal creation studio Moment Factory, moved to Saint-Roch Church for the coming months.
