Negotiations in Istanbul

As you know, Putin’s refusal to personally participate in negotiations with Vladimir Zelensky was perceived by the international community as evidence of Russia’s reluctance to take the peaceful settlement of war seriously.

Not only Western countries, but also partners of the Russian Federation – China and Brazil called him to arrive at these negotiations. However, the Kremlin sent instead a delegation of not the highest level.

Despite the fact that the President of the United States of America Donald Trump called these negotiations a great opportunity to achieve peace, he said that he was not disappointed with the composition of the Russian delegation.

Recall that the President of Zelensky has already left Turkey, and the Ukrainian delegation led by the Minister of Defense of the country is heading to Istanbul.
