Pus After Hand Tattoo: Is It Normal?

Hi, following a tattoo I have a suspected formation of pus under the treated part, the tattoo was done on the back of the hand.
It started to swell 12 hours into the treatment, now 3 days after the treatment the part is a little more deflated but it does have a yellowish halo.
Could it be pus forming?
